Ideas for new solution after THE RD crackdown?
4 months ago by halloejsovs to c/piracy
My family have been happy RD + Stremio + torrentio users for quote some time now. Since the crackdown a lot of movies and shows are now unavailable. Especially movies (Mickey-mouse-corp) dubbed to my native language are near impossible to get a hold of, using RD.
I like this solution, as it's very intuitive and easy to use for my wife and kids.
Have anyone tried a similar setup, to use with Android tv(shield), with the possibility to stream movies and tv shows i Dolby Atmos quality.
Thanks for your reply. I'll look into the nuvio solution.
Real debrid is basically useless now. There are alternative options like Torbox and Premiumize which fill the void for now.
There are plenty of add-ons (AIOStreams, Comet, MediaFusion, StreamTorz) which support both of those debrid services.
Torbox essentials plan is enough for most people and price is similar to Real Debrid. Premiumize works well and is a more mature product (less downtime) but is more expensive in comparison.
Thanks for your input. I will def. consider it!

I haven't really seen the issue you are experiencing. I remember when RD said they would ban people a while back for copyrighted content, but I haven't seen anything happen.
It might be a more regional issue you are experiencing.
On a sidenote, I've axed used Stremio+RD addon and switched over to Nuvio+Comet. It seems more stable and doesn't have the "Donation" model that Stremio just announced for the same features.
