Where do you find these updates? I would like to know. Also is the update just push automatically to the app since it’s technically in beta or would I have to go to the App Store to update?

There is a community: https://lemmy.world/post/496281
I've been using Memmy; it's in beta right now but has come a long way in the last week and is quite usable at this point. Mlem might be further along, I'm not sure - it only supports iOS 16 and above and I'm on iOS 15.
But, there's also a lot more out there - this post has more details. :)
I’m torn between Mlem and Memmy. Memmy has currently been getting more use from me as it seems a little more fleshed out, but Mlem seems more similar to Apollo, so I’m eager to see how their next update fleshes out
Today or next week might be a different answer based on the speed of innovation currently. Check out this sheet: https://docs.google.com/...
I have a good experience with Memmy (!memmy@lemmy.ml). The developers release an update every day.
I think he is asking for app and not specifically an instance.
As far as I'm aware there is no ios app for lemmy yet!
Artemis is an Apollo like app for lemmy that just had their first limited alpha test
Mlem is in apples test flight program, I haven't heard anything about it
Here's lemmy's official page for apps, I'm sure it will be updated as more apps come out https://join-lemmy.org/apps
I think that for iOS there is only one app and it's called Mlem. It's under development therefore it's a little buggy but for me it's totally usable. On [this page] (https://join-lemmy.org/apps) you can find all the information about this app
I’ve currently tried Mlem and Memmy, both in TestFlight. Mlem stopped working for me for some reason. I saw the developer has recently stated that he’s stopped working on it, but “the community” will continue its development. Not sure what that means.
Memmy’s interface is still really rough, but at least it uses all the screen space on iPad. It’s still painful not having my two-column view from Narwhal, but I understand why iPad isn’t a priority.
I’ve been able to join all of them (i think?). At this moment, I would rank them as follows: Memmy, mlem, Thunder, Limbo/Liftoff.
They’re all developing rapidly and it’s quite exciting to see new features being added daily.
Mlem had to “reset” the beta and just released a new beta version about 30 mins ago, if you hurry you can probably join https://testflight.apple.com/join/MelFP11Y
There are many apps in their infancy. Somebody made a post with a list of most of them, but I don’t have the link.
I’ve been using Memmy (testflight) and its been working very well. One of the earlier ones and already has a good amount of features and polish (clearly still beta though).
thanks for using Leebra!

I really liked Mlem so far. They are trying to release a new version today.
