[Gallery] Derpy Hooves' Adventures in Single Motherhood -- all art by 🎨xConito

4 months ago by Daisy the Dragoness to c/mlp

A scene from an Anthro version of MLP Gen4, where Derpy Hooves is cartoonishly struggling to drag her young daughter Dinky Hooves to a doctor's appointment, wings flapping mightily to little avail. Dinky is screaming and holding herself back with her magic. In the background, Carrot Top and Rose observe the mother-daughter antics with moderate concern.

A reversal of the previous scene, where Derpy is now dressed in her postal uniform and trying to go to work, but a protesting Dinky is holding her back. In the background, Amethyst Star stops drinking her tea to observe the further mother-daughter antics in mild concern.

Derpy Hooves chats with Strawberry Sunrise while out delivering mail. She shows Strawberry a newborn Dinky, kept cozy insider her baggy sweater.

Two-part sketch of (1) Derpy Hooves in a hospital bed, confused and somehow unaware that a newborn Dinky is her daughter (to Nurse Redheart's consternation; (2) Derpy holding up a young Dinky Hooves, both smiling, Dinky showing off her first lost tooth.

Derpy Hooves in her kitchen, pretending to call Princess Celestia herself on the phone, to report that a young Dinky won't eat her vegetables. Dinky screams and cries cartoonishly in protest.

A freaking-out Derpy Hooves on the phone, holding up baby Dinky Hooves, who is quite placcid despite her head being on fire. On the other end of the phone line is an exhausted Doctor Whooves and Roseluck, both having just been woken up in the middle of the night by Derpy's call.

Dinky Hooves wishing her mother Derpy Hooves a happy Women's Day, both speaking in Spanish.
