The World Cup has come to so called North America and with it, corruption, gentrification, dispossession, and repression. From their conception to the present day, mega-sporting events have been used as powerful tools of social control. Activists and militants in the territories occupied by the state of Mexico have been organizing direct actions and have issued a call for a total boycott of the World Cup.
