Black Democrats push back on Wasserman Schultz’s bid in Florida’s 20th District
a day ago by return2ozma to c/politics
She's been reelected four times since 2016. Nobody has learned a single lesson. That's why the party is able to get away with everything they do, because there's no accountability.
Nobody has learned a single lesson.
We are talking about Florida, so no surprise there.
It's not just that they pushed Hillary as a candidate, it's that they pushed Trump. They spent a LOT of money getting news stations to hype up Trump in the early days of the primaries, thinking that he would divide the GOP and be an easy candidate to beat.
They had a heavy hand in making this monster. I will never forget that. I won't say literally all the blame can be laid at the feet of HRC and DWS, but if it weren't for them, I don't think Trump would have even been a candidate in the general election.
Fuck Debbie Wasserman Shultz. You can draw a direct line from this bitch rigging the Democratic primary for Hillary "turd sandwich" Clinton to the dumpster fire we're witnessing today.

This is my district and I definitely will not be voting for her.
Using 'woke' as a pejorative has a long history in conservative discourse. Before that, it was called 'politically correct' and before that it was called 'bleeding heart'.
It all means the same thing: that liberals pretend to care about marginalized people as a cynical ploy to get/keep power.
The reason this insult has such lasting power is because it's apt.
Not that I disagree, but what's the relationship between the statement and the headline. This is an inside the party fight.

Nobody should ever forget that by leading the DNC efforts to fraudulently nominate Hillary Clinton in 2016, Wasserman Schultz arguably bears more responsibility for the election of Donald Trump than any other person outside of his campaign.
