During his speech on the National Day of Merchants and Artisans in the Iranian capital, President Masoud Pezeshkian warned against public narratives that promote internal division following the recent high-level talks.
The President emphasized that the Persian diplomatic delegation participated in the peace negotiations held in Switzerland without making any concessions that could compromise the sovereign rights of the nation.

The head of State clarified that the Islamic Republic of Iran will maintain a firm diplomatic stance and will not yield if the U.S. Government continues to ignore the sovereign rights of the Persian country. According to the President, any internal discourse promoting discord only serves the geopolitical interests of foreign adversaries.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi reported that the diplomatic delegation achieved significant progress on strategic issues of regional geopolitics. Among these achievements, Araqchi highlighted a shift in the position of the United States regarding the sovereignty of Lebanon, following intense diplomatic efforts by Tehran to protect Arab nations against external military aggressions.
These diplomatic efforts coincide with a complex regional environment, where the Persian country seeks to counter unilateral coercive measures. The Foreign Ministry confirmed that negotiations will only proceed if the counterparty respects international law and the fundamental rights of sovereign nations.

Simultaneously, the Armed Forces of Iran declared a state of absolute combat readiness for all air defense units. This military mobilization represents a direct response to the persistent economic and political pressures exerted by the U.S. administration against the Middle Eastern nation.
The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Air Defense Headquarters, Brigadier General Ali Reza Elhami, affirmed the immediate response capacity of the local military forces against any foreign hostile actions. The high-ranking officer recalled the historic performance of the national air defense during the Ramadan War, an asymmetric conflict from which local troops emerged victorious.
“Currently, our defensive operational units remain deployed across the entire sovereign airspace to neutralize any unauthorized incursions by enemy forces”, the official explained.
Furthermore, the Deputy Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) for Political Affairs, Brigadier General Yadollah Javani, revealed details of past military operations. The General explained that during a previous conflict, the United States formally requested a ceasefire between the tenth and eleventh days of combat due to the effective actions of the resistance.
However, the Iranian military command chose to sustain combat operations until the fortieth day. This strategic extension aimed to consolidate national defense deterrence and issue a clear warning against U.S. military presence in the region. Javani added that once favorable conditions were secured on the ground, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, authorized the commencement of diplomatic negotiations from a position of absolute political strength.
