Men who’ve been in long-term relationships: how do you balance being accommodating without losing independence?

I’ve noticed that in some relationships one partner gradually becomes more accommodating, changes priorities, adjusts routines, or avoids conflict more than before. Where do you personally draw the line between: healthy compromise, choosing peace, and becoming overly accommodating? Have you ever noticed yourself changing in a relationship in ways you didn’t expect? Curious how other men think about this. submitted by /u/GeminiLuminary
