Transparency Effects with Mica for Everyone

3 months ago by sad_detective_man to c/desktops

I've had Mica for a long time but struggled to get it to strap to all my programs until recently. If you're using Windows 10 the older version can work with it, mine's 1.3

It is surprising to me when it will suddenly start providing transparency to some processes but it looks so damn cool when it works. I really didn't expect it to affect the literal album art in Media Player Classic. This is the link if anyone else wants to try messing with it https://github.com/MicaForEveryone/MicaForEveryone

KDE: "Look at what they need to mimic a fraction of our power."

Behold, KDE's power:

(I also have it set so that using the mouse's scroll wheel on the titlebar of any window adjusts its opacity. Quick and easy way to change the opacity of any window whenever I feel like making a temporary change.)
