I'm that pixel over on the right. Goodbye oppressive regime. Welcome to the new world. The mayflower or jerboa has brought us here. Let's get building a new community....with blackjack and hookers.

It's exponential, looking forward to see how it will turn out.

What a nice guy, going so out of his way to help a new community grow!

I can see me in this image. I made myself a Lemmy and a Mastodon account. My reasoning was simple, reddit has an amazing amount of information, and it's an incredibly useful internet tool. And having all that locked to a single point of error is simply a mistake. A few people get greedy and suddenly all knowledge and interconnectivity gets thrown away. Fediverse seems to offer some good basis for preventing that happening.

Thanks Spez!

Can we get a refresh on that?

I had never even heard of Lemmy / Fediverse / Mastadon before the reddit debacle and am having fun exploring this new community. I'm sure many others are too.
