Well, this book is a good start, and I am thinking the next book will be the ministry for the future. But I only know of those two so far.

Have you read Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers? It’s a duology that are quite short but very thoughtful/ thought provoking and sweet.

American Reckoning by Christian G. Appy

A look at the social precursors and consequences of the Vietnam War in America. A left leaning interpretation, for sure, but compelling and helpful - especially for one only familiar with broad strokes of the conflict.
