Here is a wrench wrap I made as my first from-scratch #sewing project.

Details:
- pattern inspired by Sailrite's toolroll video,
- fabric weight: 462 gr/m^2,
- thread: Serafil 30 Tex 90,
- handsewn with double backstitch,
- finished with 1:1 ratio of paraffin to beeswax,
- strap materials from recycled old backpacks.

I've had a crappy version, not comparable in quality but same concept. I thought, why can't you wrap this thing up and rely on it? Wrenches would come flying out of there

The top folds down before you roll it so they can't come out. There's often a tie around the middle of the exterior, as well.

Why the beeswax/paraffin split? Cost, performance, or just what you had laying around?
