Well, along with the head trauma and mental illness afflicted by it, I can't work and I can't even enjoy the taste of food anymore because I lost 2 of my 5 senses.
No worries though, had my disability case seen by a judge who is not even from my home state, with the lowest approval rating of judges in her already very red home state. Ope, I was denied disability after scraping by with zero income or support for years thanks to all the budget cuts credited to the wonderful DOGE. Good thing I had food stamps or I would have starved to death by now, but no worries, now that I got denied disability they took those away too and want me to go back to work to receive them.
Thought I'd be able to move out of the housing projects so I can stop being regularly assaulted on account of being openly queer. But now I have a violent felony after resisting being ganged up on by the cops during a psychotic episode after one of the assaults (being Mexican in small town USA is not so great).
Oh wait, that means now no one will hire me because I'm a violent felon with a 5 year work gap and bipolar with schizoaffective tendencies. So, I guess I won't be able to get any more food stamps to eat the food, that I can't even enjoy anymore if I did have it.
All because a patrol cruiser ran me over in a cross walk. I was damaged by the state, and the state has done nothing but trample me further since.
I know people have it worse in the world. I try not to have a "woe is me" attitude. I'm not alone in suffering this administration's wake of damage. But I haven't felt so hopeless in my life as I do these days. And I have had multiple suicide attempts when younger. I just gave up on that too.
