Finally succeeded in sewing in a proper invisible zipper. These two videos helped: https://youtu.be/dilNiUyuL28 and https://youtu.be/NOJuX6doP2Y ...But also having a proper invisible zipper foot and not prematurely trimming my seam allowance before adding the zipper.
Hey, I'm learning! The fourth photo shows the previous and first attempt on a practice skirt I made (with a pattern from #FreeSewing, of course!). The three first photos are just on some practice fabric.
