They both asked me whether I was a Republican or Democrat. “I vote Democrat,” I told them, admitting that I had lately been disappointed in the party. Popular in News & Politics
“At least he wants to keep us safe,” the woman told me of Trump. I wasn’t sure whether she meant safe from Iran or something else, but she quickly clarified that she meant “illegals.” She went on to talk about news-grabbing headlines that anti-immigrant groups have elevated for the past decade since Trump entered the public arena, almost all of which involve victims who were young white women. “No one cares about our girls getting murdered. I have daughters,” she explained. And nine out of ten times, she added in a hushed voice, “well, you know.”
“I’m a Republican,” she would repeat a few times during our conversation, just to make sure that her occasional wariness about Donald Trump himself was not misconstrued as Democratic votership. We were shortly joined by her brother, who kept a scowl on his face as we spoke.

. . . “The cities are almost all illegals,” her brother added.
“I live in a Democrat state,” she said. “I already know what it is like, higher taxes.”
Is that near Four Seasons Landscaping?
1500-2500 sqft is a fairly modest house. I've been in some large houses, and on that scale medium house for me starts around 2500-3000 sqft. And I say that as someone who lives in a 1000 sqft house. 2300 is still on the small side, especially in context.
It's classic old-school journalism. And yes, it's a delight to read. Good journalism makes you feel like you're there, gives your imagination much to go on, and tries to stay somewhat neutral in tone and lean, reporting the facts in an interesting way.
I would say this is a great analogy to America as a whole. But most things in the wider country seem to be 50% more, not 50% off.
They don't need the cult anymore. They have a high tech secret police.

I don't remember any specific merch shops being opened up for other Presidents other than this one. If not cult, why cult shaped?
