Worse, damage to private property 😱

The suspect was "strongly suspected of jointly causing explosions, anti-constitutional sabotage, and destruction of buildings and structures," the prosecutors' statement said.

Also today I found out there is constitutional sabotage. ig applies in times of war?

Can't be. Russia-Ukraine war started in 2014 so this so-called constitutional sabotage must be something else. Or does the Germans who decided to prop up the Russian war machine through Nordstream somehow thinks it's their pipeline, on international waters?

Initial planning of Nordstream 1 started in 1995, building started 2010 and was finalized 2012. Nordstream 2 on the other hand was planned 2013, although building started 2018 so well into the war, but was stopped by US sanctions in 2019. Nordstream 1 was a project to connect the Russian federation closer to Europe, at that time a reasonable project (although still fucking greedy) Nordstream 2 is a different story propelled by greed and disregard for Russian crimes.

Just trying to point out the nuances in German/Russian relations during the last 30.years.

Whether you like it or not, for the sabotage of public and critical infrastructure. When the initial suspect was Russia for no reason, people wanted to call in Article 5, now it's fine, because the "good guys" did it?

Justice for all.

Who wanted to Article 5 it? I sure didn't.

I was merely a child back in -95 but I've always thought the Nordstream project(s) were ideologically despicable since I first heard about them some 20 years ago.

Edit: how someone allegedly thought Russia would've done this to themselves sure baffles me too.
