Even when the father is the father of both fraternal twins, one can still be darker than the other.
I have a friend who's sister had this happen. She hooked up with her bf, got into a fight and left. Hooked up with an old side-piece the next day. I've met the kids and they seem fine other than having the most ghetto trio of parents of all time.
Okay the science explained, now it's the lady's turn.
She doesn't need to explain anything. Are you assuming without evidence there was cheating? Maybe two one night stands. Maybe an open relationship. Maybe break up rebound sex. So many options.

In Greek mythology they have a couple tales of this happening as well, including Zeus was visiting a king’s wife so she got pregnant and had Hercules by him alongside a twin Iphicles from the king Amphityron.
Greek mythology is so unhinged. Imagine the bible was full of Jesus and the disciples raping each other and each others children
In that first pic , both of them look like they're trying to get away from her
This is how religions get started.
"Mary.... now there's a girl that really stuck to her story!"

This happened on an episode of Maury - my roommate and I were convinced the father was an idiot for claiming one of his twins wasn't his, and then the paternity test came back and we lost our minds
