Yeah, the article (and quoted responses to her post of her speech) makes it clear she was nothing but civil when it mattered most. Fantastic job on her part - I'm pretty sure I couldn't have held it together so well in her shoes.
Lorena Biassotti, who campaigned as a member of the MAGA-aligned Moms for Liberty, sported an anti-trans shirt from an athletic wear brand that's entire marketing strategy is transphobia, with fifth place swimmer Riley Gaines as their spokesperson.
I love that "fifth place swimmer" has become Gaines tag line.
