English striker Harry Kane received the 2026 European Golden Shoe this Wednesday at the FC Bayern Munich museum in the Allianz Arena, confirming his status as the top scorer in Europe’s major leagues for the second time in his career.

The 36-year-old forward finished the season with 36 goals (72 points) in 31 matches played. With this record, he consolidated his position as the top scorer of the Bundesliga and led the continental classification, surpassing Erling Haaland, who scored 26 goals with Manchester City, and Kylian Mbappé, with 25 goals at Real Madrid.

The award marks his second Golden Shoe after first conquering it in the 2023-2024 season, his debut year with the Bavarian club.

During his acceptance speech, Kane was accompanied by his family and dedicated words of gratitude to his teammates and the coaching staff led by Vincent Kompany*. “It was an extraordinary season, everyone can be very proud.
