What menu/launcher do you guys use? And what else do you use it for?

I use fuzzel as a launcher. I also use it for the following:

manage bookmarks
manage session (poweroff, suspend, logout, etc)
manage clipboard
manage monitors (displays)
search online (search engine, Arch packages, AUR, Wikipedia).
emoji picker

These are in my dotfiles if anyone is interested.

I'm asking purely out of curiosity and maybe the urge to steal dotfiles.

Also, with fsel I use otter-launcher: https://github.com/kuokuo123/otter-launcher

Interesting, I've never heard of these before and they seem very promising. I just tried fsel and it does everything I would want, only issue is that it seems to not check the $TERMINAL environment variable. The otter-launcher would seems to be even more promising for my use case.

Still early days but it has a LOT of features while still being really fast.

Thanks, I've heard of it before and I did not know about elephant which seems to be a nice idea to unify the the data one can pass to to it. Definitely will give it a go.
