While my personal favorite pattern is the stockman, the trapper pattern is very good. The spey blade for it's general utility and the clip point for piercing and finer tip work.

This one has been my go to camping/backcountry knife since 1997. A true pocket knife that is unobtrusive while paddling, hiking or even climbing.
