A platform to consider

13 days ago by stinkytofuisgood to c/workreform

I just want to start by saying I'm not affiliated with any third party. I'm just a guy. I post in spirit of the rules of this sub: awareness, advocacy, and action.

If you want to discuss work reform or other similar topics but you want to do so as privately and anonymously as possible, might I suggest an app called SimpleX Chat. And there's a directory of groups you can browse to get you started. Lots of other directories online as well.

Of course, do your due diligence to verify platforms' claims and your own privacy and anonymity preserving measures.

But, if you want another place where you can discuss without as much worry about being persecuted for your beliefs, I would recommend checking it out.

If anyone would like to chat about other ways to stay private and anonymous online as best as possible, I'm here for it, and I have other suggestions as well.

Thanks everyone :)

A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.

Our Philosophies:

  • All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
  • Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
  • Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
  • We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.

Our Goals

  • Higher wages for underpaid workers.
  • Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
  • Better and fewer working hours.
  • Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
  • Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
