A brilliant scene between Carter (Amanda Tapping) and O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson). Amanda originally wanted to sing the MacGyver theme tune, but couldn't...

Rumor has it, the problem was that literally no one on set remembered how the MacGyver theme song went. That seems like such an outdated issue that would not happen today. If no one were to remember it on set today, someone would be able to quickly look it up for her.
I have never watched the show, but it certainly seems like it would be a hummable tune if someone would have remembered it.

I love how this series never shied away from awkward silences and use them as a story telling device. Once you notice it, it's very obvious and even called out by the series itself (such as in the brilliant 100th Wormhole X-Treme! episode). These days shows are so afraid of people losing interest and switching over to their phones, they wouldn't dare have a silence for more than 1 second.
