There's now over 200 Steam Frame Verified games

Valve's new VR kit the Steam Frame has managed to cross over 200 games that are rated Steam Frame Verified.

Damn that's crazy given that there apparently are ≤200 Steam Frames total and all of them evidently were sent to Youtubers. /s (but not really /s)

I actually get the feeling that me being on the queue instead of wishlist only, is less of an achievement than I thought tbh..

Getting the feeling we're never getting them in Australia :(

Sold both of my Oculus 2's a few months ago to wait for this, and already repurchased PIstol Whip and Beat ninja for Steam in preparation. Slowly losing hope though. And I actually wanted to try to use it to do some dev work on VS Code too :(

I actually really want to switch to the 1TB, but worried if I order now, I'm gonna be stuck on wishlist

I wanted switch off the 1TB but am also afraid that it will reset the queue. I've also heard that all the accessories are sold out too, which sees ridiculous except if they let people order more than on of each accessory with each headset.

That sucks. I really wanted the color camera one

The color camera is sold from a separate vendor and they are (surprisingly) still available and can be bought independently. got mine preemptively before the actual headset.

I'm 90% sure that in a few months somebody is going to slap together two ESP32 with cameras and make an open sourced colored camera module for the frame for a fraction of price of the original one.

I actually meant the straps and pads as accessories, they apparently go in and out of stock constantly.

Don't be mad but I'm not a YouTuber and I got mine delivered on the 26th and I've only put about an hour into the standalone Alyx and it's otherwise collecting dust, as a dad of two kids who have been relentlessly sick for the last 3 weeks. The other bits of time I've had to actually put it on and play a game at the end of the day were spent troubleshooting the USB adapter, which is only officially supported in Windows and took some extra tinkering and configuring to get functioning in CachyOS to stream games.

Not sure how I got picked exactly, but I will say I have a 5 digit steam ID because I'm old and my steam account is old enough to buy liquor in the US (2003)
