Made in America: The Products of U.S. Prison Labor Are All Around Us

Slavery was outlawed in the USA.
With the specific exception of prisoners.
At least one US state (Virginia) referred to prisoners as "slaves of the state" in a judicial summary up until the mid-20th century.
Who needs slaves when you construct penal labour and then make everything illegal and enforce it selectively against those you want to enslave.
Laws don't prescribe or describe morality, they're tools of oppression
Refined slavery
$130. I didn't know it was prison labor produced.
Can we get the list?
many components still come from asia to be made in the us too.
