Mozilla Firefox 158 Enters Public Beta Testing with Better PDF Handling

11 days ago by auzy1 to c/LinuxNews

Firefox 158 looks like yet another small update that promises better PDF handling with support for SkPDF, a PDF-generation backend for Skia, for PDF generation when saving as PDF and also printing on Linux systems, allowing PDFs to be more accessible and also addressing various PDF rendering issues.

Firefox 158 also promises to update the New Tab page to keep a library of custom wallpapers under Your images, rather than only the most recent one, improve form filling in the Smart Window by suggesting data to use based on your relevant open tabs and saved autofill data

As a full time Linux user why the fuck would I use FF as my primary PDF reader?.

There are so many better choices.
