Marvel Zombies will return for more, with three new two-part event series. Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier arrives just in time for Halloween 2027, while 2028 will introduce a new chapter with Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu. Finally, the story will conclude in 2029 with Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian.

Next year isn't "just in time". But basically we're getting zombie "movies" for the next three years (starting next year). That's a long time to finish the story.
