The World Trade Center was filled with some of the richest capitalists in the USA. Bank CEO galore. It was like a thousand Luigi Mangiones all at once.
Certainly janitors and other unrelated people were also hit but the Twin Towers wasn't a random ghetto apartment building. It was home base of capitalist imperialism.
A bit much IMO. I get why both things happened on a "the country deserved it" level but innocent people suffered the most in both cases. It's shooting up a Walmart because you hate the corporation.
Fuck the USA but the people in the towers weren't the ones dropping bombs. Fuck Israel but the festival attendees didn't deserve to die
And before anyone says "they were guilty of complicity," if that's true then why would I celebrate the actions of those who caused direct harm which then led to a fuckton of more harm to the people they did it in "support" of?
And to be clear, I'm not going to demonize either group of attackers. It's understandable that a victim would lash out like that. But I sure as hell don't "LOVE" either event.
