I was glad to have the AI assistant back, but now new issues have come up. First, the AI takes way too long to process requests, and it feels like it's overthinking simple tasks. Second, I keep getting the error: 'AI hiccup — retrying…' multiple times in a row. This is highly frustrating and severely slows down my development workflow. I assume the servers are either overloaded or there is an internal bug with the AI. The assistant itself mentions it's unable to generate responses. Apologies for the tone, I'm just really frustrated at this point lol. Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing this? Let me know. I think it’s not a major issue, but it’s still super annoying. Ps: (Turns out it’s a model from the Muse Spark family just "Muse Spark," not the 1.1 version or anything like that I don't know if that's the issue, but it still feels a bit sluggish to me.)
Had the same wave yesterday. Here's what's going on from what I've pieced together: 'AI hiccup - retrying' means the response stream stalls mid-generation and the editor retries automatically. Not your connection, usually not your prompt either. It gets worse with long answers and busy servers, which fits everyone getting it at once. What helps me: one task per message instead of big multi-part requests, and if it hiccups twice in a row I start a fresh chat. Long sessions pile up context and get slower and dumber - that probably explains the 'overthinking simple tasks' part too. AC-0009 with a fine connection is a false alarm on the client side, your message is saved, just retry. On images: I've seen the helper fail to 'see' uploads that went through fine. The file saves correctly but the pixels never reach the model, so re-uploading rarely helps - describe the image in text instead and keep going. Reporting the exact codes like this is genuinely useful, thanks.
