The daily Akari grid resets at midnight UTC — five difficulty levels, same puzzle worldwide, streak tracking if you keep a run going. Place light bulbs so every cell is lit without any bulb seeing another.

Dev log entry from this week's changelog: light-count validation is now instant. We removed a 200 ms delay when placing lights next to numbered walls — small change, but it makes the board feel snappier, especially on phones.

If a deduction ever stalls you, every game has a step-by-step hint system: it points at the next logical move instead of auto-solving, so you still get the "aha".
