Any good books on networking?

Everytime I have to do something with a dns, subnet, general networking shenanigans. I get really lost. Are there any good books for self learning that won't put me to sleep?

But seriously. I found Mike Meyers Udemy course on the network+ to be really palatable.

I'm a developer, so I didn't even think to check textbooks for certification courses. Interesting. I don't normally like video content, but that man's taste in hats is making me think twice.

& if you are lucky, your $job may pay for part of the course or books. Otherwise you could always find the pdf on library genesis to see if it would be worth the money.

For things like:

Why is it dns?
Why would I buy cisco when I can save money on X?
