Amazon penalizes employees for leaving bottles of urine in vehicles, forcing them to be discarded on roadside

3 years ago by cyu to c/unions

In his new special taking on Amazon, prankster Oobah Butler gets a job at a fulfillment center, films the brutal working conditions, and sells a drink made of Amazon drivers’ pee on the company’s platform. Amazon isn’t happy with his work.

I'm surprised bathrooms inside of the delivery trucks aren't a thing yet. It's difficult to even find a washroom at times so it would make their life easier.

It would be a small but very useful step in mitigating some bad effects within a society that needs to be entirely rebuilt.

Why not hire more employees/drivers with all those billions in revenue? wtf

Because that costs money

Brief Relief is a thing. Amazon should 100% be stocking their trucks with them.

Why is the solution "shit in a bucket" and not "hire more drivers, and make better routes"

It’s A solution, not THE solution. I didn’t tell anyone to “shit in a bucket”, don’t put words in my mouth.

I work in an industry where I have a cube truck as a mobile office. I use Brief Reliefs every day.
