Next monday at 8 PM / 20:00 o'clock (CEST) we'll be starting our first ever sublemmy rewatch post for Psych, starting of course with S01E01! Any questions, feel free to ask below!
[UPDATE] C'mon son! Are you gonna be joining the Psych Rewatch next week?

No plans for a live chat yet, but i'm open to suggestions! It would be a comment thread for the first episode. I haven't looked at Matrix, IRC or Discord yet for something like this. What would you propose?
If enough people are interested in chat, we can make it happen. I'm just a one man show for now, so i'm gonna need some help at some point.

I can't say what would be best, but I've joined live chats for the Dimension 20 watch-along's on Discord and that seemed to work well. They do have an excellent team of moderators, though. That's obviously important. Personally I don't have any experience with that, so I'm not really sure what to suggest.

I'm pretty excited for the idea of a Discord Server (or other platform) to extend the rewatch episodes with. But as you say, that would require a good team of moderators, or at the very least a team to start with. Right now this Lemmy isn't a lot of work because of the low volume of members/posts, but with Discord there will be more active moderation required.
Open question: Any people here interested in helping me run this Discord (or other) server for the purpose of live chat?
If not, we'll get around to it in the future because i like the idea a lot.

A sublemmy devoted to Psych! This is the place to talk about the silliest, most pineapple-filled show on USA Network.
Show Summary:
Shawn Spencer has developed a keen eye for detail after being instructed by his police officer father to note even the most minute details of his surroundings. After conning the police into believing that he's a psychic, Shawn opens a detective agency with best friend Burton Guster.
Rules: for Gus
- Don't be rediculous.
- Don't be a silly goos.
- Don't be a rabid porcupin.
- Don't be the 'iiiiit' in 'wait for iiiiit'.
- Don't be the comma in 'Earth, Wind & Fire'.
- Don't be Nic Cage's accent from 'Con Air'.
In all seriousness,
- Be civil and kind to your fellow Psych'os!
- C'mon son, keep it legal
