No shade intended, I’ll delete post to respect your wishes.
I keep going back and forth. I like the way Mlem navigates and looks, but Memmy feels more feature-complete.
I’m sure in a couple months when they both are in a more finished state they’ll be pretty comparable.
I really enjoy using both. I tend to switch between the two at different times. But overall, Memmy is the one I use the most, since it’s a bit more polished.
Granted, they’re both betas, so we’re kind of watching a race between two development teams as they put together some amazing apps.
Shoutout to all the teams!
There’s features that each app has that are different right now. I feel like they’re heading heading in similar directions, just prioritizing different features.
It will be amazing to see these apps and others grow alongside Lemmy itself.
As far as it’s not a Reddit app I don’t mind using either.
I agree.
On a separate note, how did you get your image to render vs the other post that is a markdown hyperlink?
A few days ago I tried posting a gif hosted on giphy but Memmy only seems to display the link, not render the img
Ahh. Thanks!
Looks like replies don’t have a “Link” box can’t reply with gifs 😅
I’m gonna submit an enhancement request for it… I wonder if other people would like to have that or is it more popular not having reply threads full of reaction gifs?

I was in a sub that deteriorated into links to reaction memes for comments. They were a degenerate bunch and seemed to enjoy it.
thanks for using Leebra!

I think the app speaks for itself, we don’t need shade casting around here.
