r/firefox is now dedicated to fire foxes

After receiving a message from a Reddit admin on Thursday saying that its moderators were going to be replaced, Reddit’s Firefox community opened up from being private — but with a temporary new focus on an animal species instead of a web browser.

They seem to be moving their technical support over to kbin too from their announcement on reddit. An organisation like that moving over is huge!

r/firefox has really done the protest well and now they're promoting !firefox@fedia.io - good on them. If only all the subs participating in the blackout had that much backbone.

!firefox@fedia.io should be a functioning link in Lemmy 0.18+, is it not?

I looked an hour or so ago and there were many posts of fire foxes, but now it looks like most are gone. I sorted by new and only saw one. After that was posts from 20 days ago
