Even Carrot Weather is mourning Apollo.

Many popular third-party Reddit apps will be shutting down on Friday, including Apollo, RIF, Sync, and Boost, and fans of the apps are sending them off with heartfelt posts and memes.

Apollo will always be Reddit for me. Sad to see it go this way 😢

Same. Apollo was Reddit as far as I’m concerned. Too much valuable information on Reddit for me to stop using it entirely, but I won’t be on there regularly like I was with Apollo. The official Reddit app just isn’t as refined as Apollo was.

I will look at it when hunting for information, but I refuse to sign in again. Fuck ‘em.

Someone suggested it lower in the replies but I wanted to be sure you heard:

Try wefwef.app

It's crazy how close it is to Apollo. Be sure to open that link in the browser!

Same here, it's a weird feeling closing an app I've used damn near daily over the last 5 years for the last time.
