Any good strategy games for phone or laptop?

3 years ago by timkmz to c/strategy

I used to play a little strategy games before, but I kinda fell out of it when my league addiction began. Atm I dont have my stationary pc as Im about to start studying in Germany. Im wondering if there is anything good for Phone or Laptop?

I mentioned it in another post. But Polytopia is an excellent mobile game. Great visuals and music

I think a good one is unciv, a civilization V port to android. It's open source too! Here is the link to f-droid: https://www.f-droid.org/packages/com.unciv.app/

I mean.. relatively, I guess. Civ 6 is actually available on iOS and Android, the full commercial game. How good is your laptop? That would affect the types of games we recommend. Age of Empires 2 has been re-created recently and that's a 2D game, would run on a Windows laptop with a pretty shitty GPU no problem.

Check out https://store.steampowered.com/..., AOE2 was one of the all-time classics, game out back in 1999 originally but here it is fully remastered and modernised. Still 2D though so I bet even a potato can run it.

Rusted Warfare is probably the best RTS on mobile. Dirt cheap too
