If you want a good story game, NieR Replicant and NieR Automata are phenominal (Automata is a sequel but both are standalone games so you can play either). Shameless plug of the NieR Lemmy.

Rain World is an incredible work of art. Hard as hell but genuinely an amazing experience unlike others and I highly recommend it, and the DLC is the single best DLC I've ever seen for any video game (and I haven't even finished the DLC despite spending tens of hours on it).

For some fun multiplayer games if you have friends who will grab a copy for themselves too, Don't Starve Together, Stick Fight: The Game, Rounds, and Rubber Bandits are all decent options.

If you somehow don't have Garry's Mod, it's five dollars. Just get it. Just trust me.

And if you like visual novels or just want an absolutely beautiful and horrific story, all chapters of Higarushi are on a mega sale right now.

Go and play Dragons Dogma. It's honestly a masterpiece.

Bought a Steam Deck and it arrived the day it went on sale 🥲

Ultrakill's on sale (not by much but still), probably the best FPS game out there. Go play it if you haven't. If you won't I'll ban you /s

75% off borderlands 2 and 94% off borderlands:the handsome collection

I grabbed Back4Blood ultimate for $20 when it's normally $100. Also got Sons of the Forest. Seems to be a merge between Ark and Valheim.

I just go here. https://steamdb.info/sales/ and end up buying too many games 😅

Probably a tad basic but with the addition of creative mode to Teardown, I'm gonna have to be all in on that one. I've also seen some youtube videos of Terra Nil, and that looks really fun.

Lenny loosejocks goes walkabout and Lenny loosejocks in space

XCOM 2 and Tales of Zestria are like 4 bucks each atm for anyone interested.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is 2.99USD right now. Co-written by the Ex Machina and Annihilation director Alex Garland.

A great game I picked up recently is Tails of Iron. It's not the style of game I usually go for as I have limited time to game so usually just go for big names. But I've really gotten into this, so really recommend it.

You can get the Anno 1800 complete edition for the price of a normal game now 😂

It's not a huge sale but Hrot is 15% off, which makes it $17 from $20

I noticed that Homefront: The Revolution is on sale for $3.99 but I’m not buying it for the base game… I’m buying it for Time Splitters 2 (TS2)! There is a mod that allows you to completely separate TS2 from Homefront and adds in extra optional features like add-ons, fixes game breaking bugs, and it renders natively to HD and 4k. If you’re already a fan of TS2 or you want an old-school Golden Eye like game with pretty good humor then I recommend it.

Recettear is on sale. Probably the cheapest I've seen it...
