Whatch your humidity levels like a fucking hawk. I got to about 3-4 weeks remaining on my last grow, and lost almost half of my crop due to powdery white mildew. It's the most frustrating fucking thing ever. To do all that work and lose it right at the end.

Neglected to put my upper canopy fan on fast enough last grow. Lost a few large colas, I like to call it testing the limits of the plant.

It’s the risk you run with large dense buds unfortunately.

Looks great. Maybe defoliate/Lollipop a little. The canapy Looks pretty dense.

Yep it is dense. No need to lollipop, it would only be wasting all the energy the plant used to make the leaves. If I need the airflow I’ll remove some more.

Sunk cost fallacy. Shes wasting more energy keeping those C bud nodes alive.

You will get better overall bud development if you sacrifice the things you know arent going to develop great anyway

Nope, the plant isn’t even at full capacity so it currently doesn’t matter if I have more foliage and bud sites.

With testing being cheaper and more prominent and people have been testing lower bud sites along with main colas. Lower budsites have higher THC content and more terpenes and cannabinoids since they aren’t being light degraded while growing if they are protected by light canopy coverage.

All of these buds will develop, I don’t know why you would claim otherwise.

People and their outdated anecdotal experience that has been well proven incorrect by science and studies, sorry growmie, get with the times.

Do a grow and test your bud yourself, you’re doing it a disservice by putting it in the line of light degradation for its entire grow.

Also, a lot of people use these low power quantum board lights, they get zero penetration due to invers square law since they are so close. Those you have to cull and lollipop since the light isn’t strong enough. My light is, I’m sorry you can’t understand that every situation is different.

You want to argue with the results I got from my last grow….?

I work at a professional cannabis company. I help grow more weed than you likely have seen in a single sitting. This isnt personal anecdotes, this is the professional advice our company gets paid 6 figures to consult for.

We have run 400 plant room tests in both indoor and outdoor for various foliage densities, feeds, and nodal spacings. The overwhelming, in-our-face evidence always, and I do mean always, showed that heavy leafing and lower lolli work improved the density of bud growth, the strength of thc turnout, and the health of the plant.

You dont need to take my advice, and Im sure you will get fine flower without it. But I do actually trust 5 years of aggressive research by a professional company over your personal grow tent.

E: to clarify, as I realize it isnt overly clear. Our testing rooms for experiments run 400 plants per turnover. That is not the total number of harvests, who knows how many harvests we have done.

Leaf the fuck out of that mid to low canopy. Get them all out of there.

All those lower leaves are doing is sucking up energy while not absorbing much light, and they choke up airflow to increase mold risk.

Heavy leafing saves you time in the future and makes your bud end up much better, slap on a podcast and start poppin petioles

It’s 21 days into flower the plant isn’t making anymore leaves and removing them would waste all of the energy it used to make the current ones and remove photosynthesis capacity.

Light passes through leaves, they don’t absorb 100% of the light that touches them.

Sunk cost fallacy. Your plant is wasting energy keeping those leaves alive, and PM is taking advantage colonizing in a thicker stagnant air.

21 days into flower is not very late at all, we leaf up until day 40~ish depending on the strain.

Do you lack basic botany education? How is a leaf that has finished growing taking energy from the plant? The plant is also done stretching, no more leafs will grow unless you stress the plant to require making new ones. Like lollipopping it when it doesn’t need it…..

No stagnant air in this tent either…

And plenty of people don’t do that, you’re arrogant and asinine if you think lollipopping is needed on every grow.

I think your company needs a better consultant if this is the advice you give and the attitude you use when questioned about your research.

....... Did you just ask how a living piece of tissue takes energy to continue living?
