I really liked the first one, loved the books.... Trying to avoid too much hype, I like to go in a bit "naive". Not too many trailers, or theories etc...
Loved the first one as well! The acting, direction and cinematography were all great
Before part 1 I was under the opinion that you could probably find a way to tell Messiah and Children in one movie and I think we'll certainly see elements of Children appear in part 3. I'm disappointed that this means we'll probably never see God-Emperor as a movie but I also understand that watching 2 hours of philosophy with a slug, his bio-engineered wife, and a zombie would probably be pretty unapproachable for most audiences. I almost think the way to make it palatable would be to tell the story from the PoV from a bunch of characters interacting with Leto over the course of a TV show
Panos Cosmatos/Robert Eggers could do it justice, although I'm not sure how four-quadrant it would be. I'd dig it though! Siaynoq! Not a very conventional story, but massive cinematic potential.
Honestly I'm relieved. God Emperor is my favourite book but damn I can't imagine how it would be possible to do it in movie format.
Yes!
I hope part 2 lives up to part 1. If so, this could easily become a masterpiece trilogy.
thanks for using Leebra!

I will gladly take all the Dune hype they want to give me.
