ULPT: Using Teams and want to stop your status from going Idle? Start a meeting using “Meet now” on teams and change your status to Available.

Keeps your status green indefinitely. As a bonus, it also keeps your device from going into sleep mode (and timing out of VPN if your company uses that).

Not a great tip; as managers, we can see the activity of direct reports, and being in long meetings with no attendees is a dead giveaway.

I leave mine on Appear Away most of the time. People in my work area know they can message me anytime. People who think I'm away will not expect an immediate reply.

“Sorry boss, people keep nothing me for unimportant things so I set my status to “appear away” to make sure I can get my work done undisturbed!”

Or just use Move Mouse. It doesn't require installation.
