I think, I have finally found a way to manage my tab hoard. I save tabs that I want "for later" into Toby (neat bookmark manager, but not perfect, I'd like to write some myself at some point), and my immediate backlog is in TabWrangler (extension that closes tabs after 20 minutes of inactivity but keeps the link if you want to restore it)

The Panorama tabs extension in firefox has an "export/import" option in its settings. Also a great way to save a hoard.

I have about 3 projects that i work on my free time, i have to force myself to only do one of them at a time, otherwise i won't be able to finish any of them... not that i have finish any yet...

That's why I use TabSessionManager add-on. Can't live without it no more. It has cloud sync, device tags and stuff.
