The only phishing e-mails I receive are from my employer. As a matter of process I report these e-mails like a diligent lackey, then upon receiving an e-mail congratulating me on passing their test, I report that one too. I think the non-test phishing reports undergo manual review so I hope I'm wasting someone's time somewhere in payback.

Still haven't forgiven them for a tone-deaf 'we care about you during COVID' phishing e-mail they sent when everyone was genuinely struggling.

inb4 products that have absolutely no supply chain dependence to China 'somehow' increase in price.

I equate Samsung TVs with HP printers. I would rather go without than have to put up with their nonsense.

I wonder how much of their income actually goes towards development. At a glance, it seems a great deal of unnecessary administrative bloat has been added to Mozilla.

I honestly don't see why a browser company needs to be so large (>700 employees).

Not that I want people to lose their jobs, it just seems unnecessary.

It boggles my mind how so many websites and platforms incorrectly say my e-mail address is 'invalid' because it has an apostrophe in it.

No. It is NOT invalid. I have been receiving e-mails for years. You just have a shitty developer.

Could be worse. I was the only member of my entire team who didn't get stuck in a boot loop, meaning I had to do their work as well as my own... Can't even blame being on Linux as my work computer is Windows 11, I got 'lucky'; I just got a couple of BSODs and the system restarted just fine.

I recently discovered that I can buy, download, and launch games from my Epic Games library without having the Epic Games Bloatware even installed.

Heroic Games Launcher serves as a storefront, installer, and launcher for Epic Games, GOG, and Amazon.

I used to pay for 4 streaming subscriptions.

Now no one gets my money. I would love to support developers, but I'm unwilling to put up with this bullshit to do so.

Ads even though I already pay? Have to turn off my VPN to use your website? Incomplete series? Inability to watch content offline? Regularly increase the cost well above inflation level? Geolocking content?

Streaming services get shittier and shittier with each passing day. Glad I 'opted out'.

These symbols are getting more messy and difficult to decipher... Someone asked me the other day if I had 5g. I looked at my phone and there was no 3g, 4g, or 5g. So, I just said I have VoLTEBlutoothshaky batteryalarmclockkeyupsidedowntriangle62%.

The Harry Potter series was such a prominent part of my childhood. I remember my teacher reading the books to the class as they came out. I loved every moment and eagerly looked forward to each book release. It is truly a disappointment that someone I held in such high regard has decided that making other people feel bad is how they wish to be remembered.

JK Rowling created a magical world that has evolved and surpassed her in every way.

The ruling means far-right leader Marine Le Pen could face a five-year political ban if her party is convicted in an ongoing embezzlement trial.

My dream is to one day read a news article about a court decision that actually has final concrete repercussions, and not something that will likely end up with 2-3 more appeals later down the track.

The bloody lights everyone is obsessed with nowadays caused me numerous nights of shit sleep. Some devices designed by companies who clearly think too much of themselves decided that they would keep their LEDs on despite the computer shutting down.

If anyone else is experiencing this issue, look for ErP in your BIOS/EFI and then turn it on/enable it.

Caveat: you won't be able to charge your USB devices using your PC USB ports while the PC is shutdown if you change this setting.

Can't help but notice that you've cropped out your prompt.

Played around a bit, and it seems the only way to get a response like yours is to specifically ask for it.

Honestly, I'm getting pretty sick of these low-effort misinformation posts about LLMs.

LLMs aren't perfect, but the amount of nonsensical trash 'gotchas' out there is really annoying.

Yeah, it's a pretty straight-forward solution. OP should have just used intergenerational wealth to buy politicians and make their preferred substance of entertainment (or coping mechanism) legal. It boggles my mind how so many people ignore obvious solutions like this.

Probably some bureaucrat decades ago making an incorrect assumption that passed down through generations. Happened to my family. No Irish roots whatsoever, yet somehow we ended up with the annoying form-breaking apostrophe in our 'legal' name just because it begins with the letter 'o'.

"Oscar??? Surely, you're mistaken. I hereby decree your name to be O'Scar!" ~Arsehole circa 1937
