I'm trippin lol.
You can usually tell when a man doesn’t like women by how he talks about relationships. On places like AskReddit, you’ll see guys who feel entitled to sex or affection because they’ve had a hard time dating—and they blame women for it.
They start to resent women and expect them to take on traditional roles like cooking, cleaning, raising kids, and working full-time, all while splitting the bills.
Their idea of a relationship becomes purely transactional—like a checklist—without any genuine care or respect for the woman as a person.
Some guy in his car rolled up to me as I walked out of Walmart and was like "hey can I get your number?" I said no, he then said "come on ill give you a hundred dollars" (Mind you, I was wearing sweats, hair messed up, so i wasn't wearing anything provocative)
I said no again. Then I got into my car, and he started following me. I had to haul ass just to shake him so he wouldn't know where I lived.
The nerve of that guy.
What i should have done (instead of being passive) was say, "HEY! if you don't back the fuck off I'm calling the police"
I thought he'd take no for an answer. I should have not been so passive is my thought. When someone is crossing the line like that it's ok to be rude.
I think yall are way to extreme and maybe need to take a break from the internet every so often. It's not healthy to be This indepth hardcore wanting to almost kinda dox ppl bc you didn't, ahem... appreciate their tone. Pretty pretentious. But anyway
We have an annoying lemmy users community where you can basically call users out, but the main rule is to mark out their username, instance name, all instances showing and community name. But to expose who they are also?
Number one you'd be making enemies and Secondly, you'd be making lemmy even more hostile then it already is. Which disincentivizes activity and engagement.
HC has an ask an admin community, annoying lemmy users community, and mod and admin complaints community. Which i think apply here, but highly doubtful anyone will use for the purposes stated in the post.
In short,
I think just taking a lemmy break, and breaking away from the internet drama is the best way to go here. The more you get involved, you might be fuckin with the wrong person and that'll blow up in your face.
I take breaks from lemmy all the time. I feel it's almost necessary in order to continue to use the platform, bc of how toxic, hostile, and extremist the online community is. I don't have time nor desire to drag my mental health into the mud fighting, arguing, and playing gotcha games on the internet.
I value my time and health more then that
You're gunna do whatever you are gunna do. But let me just say this.
Your heart is in the right place, but this is a bad idea. You'd essentially be taking responsibility for mentally unwell people who are in a devastating position.
You'd open the door for emotionally starved people to latch onto you, and possibly threaten you for not answering them when they snap their fingers. Or feel suicidal at whatever time of day that is and in whatever time zone that is.
.......
I'm wishing you the best just proceed with caution I just... oh man...
