I daily drive Bazzite and I'm not fully in agreement. If you're doing non-Steam games or emulation, or desktop stuff, on AMD hardware Bazzite is the winner IMO because it 'ships' with that stuff preconfigured in a way steam os doesn't and Bazzite has something very similar to big picture mode for AMD. Hardware compatibility is probably still better out of the box with Bazzite too.
If you're only playing Steam games on the TV Steam OS is arguably better.
Gadgetbridge actually does some stuff for at least some of the Anker Soundcore headphones. Maybe it covers your use case?
As someone who thinks the world would be a better place without little shits chucking cans of green beans at people's heads I'm shaking my head, but my inner former retail worker is cheering for the (possibly made up for a joke) little shit with the impressive aim.
We've got a long standing proposal to make it happen in Minneapolis, there's some pretty convincing arguments in favor of it. NSFW, obviously.
I regret spending so much time playing sports. I didn't have enough time to figure out what I like and what I'm good at and where those things intersect so now I'm just kinda adrift as an adult. My parents forced me to play though because they were shitheads that thought my not terribly athletic self would get a full ride college scholarship through hard work so I had zero financial support for college as well, I was just glad to escape their manipulative bullshit. The lesson I should have learned was that natural talent beats hard work every time, it sucks.
Something I've been wondering for a while is why would someone use a BSD over a Linux distro? There's some applications that seem more obvious, like I've seen diy router builds using some flavor of BSD and there's server stuff I'm sure that some people prefer over (or are just better than) other options, but people have ported KDE Plasma and a lot of other stuff to it and... Why?
So how nasty are these things to humans? They seem like body horror nightmare fuel.
(I think I live far enough north to not have to worry about them but thinking about them still makes me a bit queasy.)
I was sitting outside of an anime con rave with some friends when people started streaming out of the rave in a hurry. Someone had set off pepper spray in the middle of the crowd. Never fully found out why but the two stories I heard were either that a guy got way too handsy with a girl or someone just did it for the lulz. (Either way it was a bad time for a lot of people and the paramedics had to be called for a few folks.)
I saw the headline and wondered if this was a repost. Nope. If I had a nickel for every time this guy has been arrested for ocean hamster wheel shenanigans, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I was kinda worried when I saw the subject line of the email.
Steam is actually pretty decent, by company standards.
There's never been a single reported case of popcorn lung caused by vaping, and the vape manufactures have basically all chosen to switch to something other than diacetyl out of an abundance of caution. It was only ever in some of the "creamy" and popcorn type flavors anyway.
That said, don't start vaping. It's great as harm reduction because it's better than cigarettes, but unless you're using it to stop smoking cigarettes, don't vape.
Google killed off their own cached pages last month and they're now using IA as a replacement. Free linking is definitely important, but this is Google we're talking about, and them using IA to save money - this feels a lot more exploitative if Google isn't funding them in some way.

Yup, I ate this onion. I hate reality.

Tom Scott has a page of reflections and corrections for that video from a few years ago. He's a good ally but I think we all envy past Tom's optimism.
I love how so many people clearly didn't read the entire post, lol.
Conveniently, that bus stop also punishes anyone else who makes the mistake of waiting for a bus there.
Ugh, I just want a bench.
thanks for using Leebra!
