Before you get too excited, this was an interview with OAN, and that she thinks people should be paying more attention to OAN

In the beginning of Covid, a doctor in very rural India started treating Covid patients with ivermectin and they got better. So the doctor wrote a paper about it, and this paper was touted as proof that ivermectin was the cure for Covid, and nowadays everything.

Because schools don't stress science literacy, what people didn't notice in the paper was that WHY ivermectin helped these patients with their Covid infections is because they ALSO had multiple parasites because they were living in a very rural area and rarely sought medical help, and therefore their immune system was already overburdened dealing with the parasites. By treating the parasites with ivermectin, their immune systems were able to focus on Covid and actually fight through it. This was all explained in the paper, people just didn't read past the title, clearly.

Ivermectin is prescribed for humans - specifically in the cases of parasites. We need to get back to teaching science literacy and critical thinking in schools.

As soon as I read the title to this, I thought "here we go again", but I'm amazed there are actual helpful comments and only one reference to the arms broken/mom bit

I find this to be a breakdown of training, because the training was pretty clear years ago when I had clearance with the navy that we were never to use apps like this that could disclose location, not just while on-duty or on base, but at any time that our location could be given away. We were specifically not allowed to have Fitbits or other smart watches (Fitbit was the big one at the time) that could share location and any apps that wanted to know our location (yes, on our personal phones) needed to be cleared by IT because we were people that had been granted clearance and therefore could not give away critical location information.

The big scandal that got a lot of people into trouble was Pokemon Go, because not only did it use location, but I guess it used camera too? I didn't know, I didn't play it, but using cameras on base was a HUGE no-no, so using an app that shared location AND picture during your lunch break broke the brains of the COs.

It seems so weird to me that this is something that is so widespread right now. I didn't work for the navy anymore and haven't in a while, but I still follow the basic safety protocols about not sharing sensitive information.

Completely disagree. I had a hand injury as an infant that resulted in my parents being given the same decision to make - repair the fingers and hope for functionality or amputate. They chose to repair, of course they did. It has lead to 20+ surgeries, unbelievable nerve pain my entire life, and zero functionality. I have consistently asked for the fingers to be amputated, but at this point it's considered elective amputation and worthy of a call to a psych to have me checked out, despite the pain. I would give anything to go back to that time and have my parents choose amputation. But of course, not knowing the pain, I would probably be upset with them for choosing that option as well

It may seem like this player is "choosing" to forego restorative surgery just so he can play in the Olympics, but this article is probably not presenting all of the information that he was given by his doctors, and his choice may have nothing to do with playing right now, but rather the longer outcome of his health. Just because he's explaining that a benefit of this choice is that he can play right now doesn't mean that is the complete reason he chose it.

Your paystub (in the US) should state how exactly much is going to Medicare, unemployment, social security, disability, and general state and federal income for various programs (highway repair, workforce development, etc depending how your state uses income tax). If this is not on each of your paystubs, speak to your payroll department.

It's not that they "do better". As the article is saying, the AI are parrots that are combining information in different ways, and using "threatening" language in the prompt leads it to combine information in a different way than if using a non-threatening prompt. Just because you receive a different response doesn't make it better. If 10 people were asked to retrieve information from an AI by coming up with prompt, and 9 of them obtained basically the same information because they had a neutral prompt but 1 person threatened the AI and got something different, that doesn't make his info necessarily better. Sergey's definition is that he's getting the unique response, but if it's inaccurate or incorrect, is it better?

Everyone that lives in California (and thus the evac zone) would know to check CalFire (ie, www.fire.ca.gov) for any wildfire maps before looking at any other source because it would be the most accurate and most up to date.

Wildfires are such a common thing (car off the side of the state/interstate hwy, brush fire set off by a homeless encampment in public land, massive forest fire, etc - all would be on CalFire; for a local building fire you would have to check local authorities). We all know if we see smoke to check CalFire to get the details and if it's heading our way. It even shows things happening in Mexico and nearby states in case it's heading towards us.

Could be dishonest opportunistic propaganda from this guy

This, or someone completely unfamiliar with California

Ugh, there are those of us that are fully aware of the proper uses for en dashes and em dashes, and I'm not going to stop properly using my em dashes just so people don't think sending them an AI generated response.

Another comment mentioned a "giveaway" is the "there dots but as one character". I don't know about y'all's keyboards, but if I type an ellipses my phone's keyboard automatically changes it to a single character of three dots and has been doing so for years.

As other people are saying, being tested for and treating sleep apnea is a good first step - IF IT IS SLEEP APNEA. What many people don't realize it's that loud snoring is not exclusive to apnea. It is an indicator of it, but one can indeed be a loud snorer and not have apnea. Additionally, there are multiple kinds of apnea that cannot all be treated in the same way. There's the CPAP machine, the nose guard, wedge cushions to lay in your side, surgery, implantable device, weight loss of overweight, and so many more. When the snoring is not due to a one if the apneas or another easily identifiable cause, the are tongue and throat exercises that have become popular recently to a certain degree of anecdotal success. Drinking a certain beverage right before bed. Medications/supplements. Weird stuff

Because there are hundreds of potential causes (and even more potential solutions, more than half of which only kind of work with some people) and the only thing we know is that he snores - there's no answer that can be given except to say a doctor needs to pinpoint the cause. My guess is your dad is an adult and know he snores, and still doesn't feel the need to go to a doctor, you are asking because it bothers you? If it's not leading to an effect in his health, then there's not much to worry about (eg, he not waking up still exhausted, or waking himself in the middle of the night by gasping for breath, waking up with a sore throat or headache, etc) and going through those tests is going to be crazy expensive even with insurance (assuming you are in the US)

With the family I grew up in, it be hard to convince you the house wasn't a sawmill with how many logs all of us were sawing every night. My sister was the only one between my parents and my siblings and I that didn't snore. She used to complain about it, but now she sees it as reassuring because she can keep track of where we all are in the house and that we're all still alive (this is mostly for our parents who are now much older - them snoring at least means they aren't dead), if we're still awake or if she can sneak Christmas presents down to the tree, in the morning she can tell whose woken up and whose still asleep. And yes - every single one of us has spent multiple thousands of dollars (after insurance) to found out there's literally nothing we can do, there's no position we can sleep in to change the fact that we snore, there's no tongue exercises that will fix it, no magic pill. That's not to say that will be the case with your dad, but trying to give you realistic expectations.

The original idea of being a sovereign citizen is fine in and off itself - something like Sealand - claiming Nation status outside the jurisdictional claim of any other nation and developing your own laws and methods for citizenship. If you can get your nation to be recognized by another and you are able to sustain yourself (electric, water, safety, roads, etc). This has happened in a few places. It's just something eccentric people that have some method of getting some isolated land do, or that they want to not be bothered.

But they still recognized the laws of the other places they were traveling to while they were there, because they obviously couldn't stay only within that tiny little area forever. However, people started to claim sovereign citizenry within their respective countries and that specific laws didn't apply to them because they were sovereign. Which is just ridiculous even if they were members of one of these sovereign nations.

Since none of what they were saying ever seemed to work, they started coming up with these specific "phrases" that had to be used and ways of saying it, capitalization, punctuation, etc. but the most insane to recently come out is that they believe the government sets up a secret Treasury account at birth in the name of anyone with a birth certificate that the government uses and puts debts onto (that's why they don't want to have birth certificates) but that they can get the debts cleared and get any access to the money in the account by using specific phrases to a judge. The account is the capitalized name on the birth certificate and the actual human is the lower case name. That's where a lot of these posted letters stem from.

My hope is that if they are trying to purge themselves from existence in databases, they also are removing themselves from the voter rolls - because if they truly believe they are a non-us citizen, then they should have no say in the state of the country, or even the local elections, correct?

My theory is that him and Adam Baldwin were both on the outskirts of these conspiracies, then when they were in a show together (Chuck) they started talking together and it spiraled and they both became crazier and their combined crazy fueled each other. If you look at the trajectory of both of their craziness, it seems to line up with the second half of the series and afterwards.

Sure you have some aspect of faith (I wasn't there, can't 100% confirm the authenticity of the footage myself), but it's clearly based on quite a solid piece of evidence.

Except that you don't need to have "faith" that this happened, you are able to verify it yourself!! There were reflectors left on the moon that you can shine a significantly strong laser to and have it reflected back if you have a sensor that can pick it back up.

THAT is the point of peer review. To prove that the results in the experiments are reproducible by those using the same equipment, and that faith isn't a requirement - that anyone can verify it and reproduce it.

How would those man-made reflectors have gotten there if not for man going to the moon and placing them there?

I have this exact same clock. Are you positive it's not going off? You may have it set to be quiet in the beginning and ramp up to being loud over 15-30 minutes which is supposed to wake you up gradually. So perhaps you only noticed it going off at 10:46.

For instance, I want to be awake at 7, so I set mine for 6:30 with a 30min gradual wake up (sounds and light gradually go up for 30 min).

That setting is not required and you can have it just wake you up, but then it defeats the point of a sunlight alarm in my opinion.

The wealthy overlords require a multitude of cheap labor to retain their wealth. That's why they are so concerned about falling birth rates - listen to any of them talk about it, it has nothing to do with concern for the planet like any of the rest of us (less demand on resources that we are already depleting, etc), they are concerned about maintaining the current rates of production and labor if the next generations are smaller and smaller. Sure, Vance is talking about it from a "family values" perspective, because that's a cloak he thinks his base will listen to, but listen to Musk talk about it, or any of the "pro-natalist" movement.

I have lived in many states, including California. California has by far the best information pre-election to make informed decisions. Booklet with bios on every candidate, every issue, statements for and against, detailed descriptions about what a yes vote means and what a no vote means, sample ballot to make your decisions ahead of time - and this is just the info from the state/county/local municipality. All of this right to every voters' mailbox. Then there's the guides from the Union of Concerned Scientists, League of Women Voters, and a few others that might be more niche. In California at least, there's no excuse not to be an informed voter. After I moved away from California and only received my voting location in the mail, I called the election office to check to see if my sample ballot or booklet of bios or any other information was on the way or if it had gotten lost in the mail or something. They had no idea what I was talking about and were so confused. So I asked if I could get information about the candidates or the issues from the election website or something to inform myself about them. Nope! I had to find out who each candidate was and then look up if they had their own website to find out more about them and what they stood for - if they didn't have a website, that was it. For the issues, all I had to go on was the wording itself and what people were shouting about it in local media.

I wish all states would do what California does. But, I'm pretty sure that's partly by design - make it confusing and you can get people to vote for things they probably wouldn't want if they truly understood it.

Please don't use the phrase "fake ballots" though, especially in the current climate of people still thinking 2020 utilized fake ballots. The term you are looking for is "sample ballots".

I am not a doctor, let alone a NICU doctor or OB, but I've been wondering this whole time, how much fetal development is based on the mother's movement throughout the day and gravity's impact on the fetus? Especially that early in development. This whole situation has been so awful to hear about.
