My understanding of how this works is that that left one is real accounts making real comments, at least in the majority.

Then when the link gets reposted, either by a bot or naturally, potentially depending on the title, the bots scrape the old comments and post them.

It's content farming. And Reddit is probably okay with this.

"This assassin missed and hit all of us."

This is such an elegant and iconic line. History will view that as the truth.

This is so dumb, what is he thinking? What's the angle?

Dumbness aside, Twitter is only usable if you block all of the blue check spammers who add nothing to any discussion.

Maybe he's doing it so you can't block blue checks? But it still doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

For the life of me, I can't see how this isn't human trafficking. The migrants are generally NOT told where they're going, or they're straight up lied to. Anyone who organized something like this should go to prison for human trafficking.

Also if you look at the economics of this action, you're exporting valuable laborers, consumers, and future census population to your rival states. Dumb move.

Just don't date conservative men. First date, ask them their politics. It's literally that simple.

You should really have a suite of questions to weed out partners you don't want. This is what the first few dates are really for. Ask them their politics, if they voted, and who they voted for, their stance on abortion etc.

All you're going to get with this is friendly fire. Conservatives generally do not prefer leftist women.

They get 100% of the tip, it's a legal requirement. The scummy part is the company does this to give you the opportunity NOT to tip, and therefore subsidize the food for shitty people.

Just in case, the few times I have ordered food, I put a dollar or two tip in the app, and add a note saying I'll give them a cash tip. Usually I'll give them a 2-4 Dollars more depending. If you're using these services you need to tip, that's how they make their livelyhood and feed their families.

It's a scummy business, and you should definitely try to avoid using it unless it's your only option for some reason. Your order will probably be at least $30, but do you know how much spaghetti you can make with $30??

Op probably does not have a PHD. He posted a stupid opinion and got down voted for it, and ran to 4chan because he was sad.

It's honestly probably kleptomania. It's a serious problem for a lot of people, and there's no way this woman needs to shoplift, she could probably afford everything she steals.

"AI controlled" 🤪

When did having basic microprocessors become AI controlled?

I remember reading about that too, but it seems kind of contrived for two reasons.

First of all, we all know it's very easy to lie with statistics. Even if the statistics did seem damning (which is debatable when I read it), that could be from manipulation.

Second, the scheme described would fall apart completely with even a SINGLE recount in ONE swing state. Even just a county wide recount would make the whole house of cards fall apart.

The fact that the current administration has done nothing about this, despite access to some of the best data, analysts, and intelligence in the world, seems to imply that it is most likely not true.

Edit: also the explanation for the hack is that a number of machines were captured and reverse engineered, then replaced only after a wide hack was figured out. If the machine and software are built remotely intelligently, that shouldn't matter at all. You're telling me that a state of the art voting machine, built for maximum security and audit power, isn't built with that in mind? It's possible but very unlikely.

This kind of thing often has the opposite of the intended effect. People then host mirrors of the original repo, and the press brings more developers to the project.

This sort of action by Nintendo and other companies is so short sighted. Bad press, a legal battle they couldn't actually win if it went to court, increased attention on the thing they're trying to hinder, etc. Its a stupid decision made by business people who don't know anything about tech, and who are disincentivized to care about the long term health of their brand.

I litterally had not heard of the emulator until now. Maybe I'll have to compile it and give it a spin now.

To be fair, they need a house in their hometown and a house in DC. That can be extremely expensive. You want congressmen to be financially independent so that they don't need to accept bribes and such.

In my own stupid opinion, the GOP is infested by fascist thought to its very core. And yet, they got boo'd for denying climate change. Some change is good, and some change is bad, and I think the conservatives recognizing climate change is a damn good thing.

But it should have happened 20 years ago. We are seriously fucked now. Thanks Mitch.
