It only ever improved in response to fear of revolution, and any "improvement" through voting was nothing more than a temporary concession, Britain used to be the face of social democracy then Thatcher came and since then standard of living has been constantly getting lower, Obama brought Obama care(which was absolutely not enough) because Occupy wallstreet happened, then trump came and gutted it. Every single vote is a way to legitimize the American government and system, the American government was founded on the idea of invading other people. i know..... i have genuinely, and im not saying this to brag, genuinely been nothing but kind and understanding towards others, i've always tried my best to be there for people and listen to them even when they just leave me when they're issues are resolved, i have never gotten tired and exhausted from listening to others but... the one time i thought i found someone who'd listen to me as much as i listen to them, it ended up just being a false sense of security.

"I want to try something newer, with better technology" this is where you are wrong little guy(i use guy in gender neutral), in most cases for games its usually better to try something older. you want a genuine rich first person RPG? play morrowind, detailed character creation, huge sandbox and you can just make your own story in it, just don't use the iron dagger if your character isn't proficient with it, its an rpg, if your character is bad at something the combat will really show it.
