The Netflix series Sex Education is all about a wide variety of characters' wellbeing and mental health. Even antagonistic "bad" characters tend to have hidden depths and nuance. As a show it was also surprisingly gentle with its characters, rather than just constantly beating them up for drama's sake.
Not sure why folks here are so down on Pocket. I've used it on a daily basis since it was called Read It Later, long before the Mozilla acquisition. It's a handy way to hang on to links temporarily, when bookmarking is overkill and I don't want to have a million browser tabs open.
Very often I spot something on Mastodon (or pre-Musk Twitter) or one of my Discord servers and want to come back to it later. Maybe I'm on my iPhone and the site is something that would be better on my PC monitor. Maybe it's a YouTube video and I'm someplace where I can't play sound. Pocket does the job.
I'm playing in a Cyberpunk RED campaign and one of my groups just wrapped up a Numenera mini-campaign. Next month, the Numenera campaign will be replaced with a Kobold Press-heavy 5e campaign.
It's on a bit of a hiatus as the moment, but I've been running Mork Borg.
Kobold Press' monsters are fun and original. Just be aware that they hit at their listed Challenge Rating, while many of the first party WotC monsters are easier/less effective in combat than their listed CR.
Anera is the charity I've been considering. They've got good ratings from Charity Navigator, Charity Watch, etc.
"Anera is responding to the immense humanitarian need in Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Your donation will provide immediate and sustainable relief in Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan."
It’s challenging, but not quite to the extent of the Souls games. The Pawn system is fascinating, where you can lend your NPC helpers to other online players, and they’ll come back with gifts and also advice about dungeons and enemies.
My suggestion would be to go a bit more old school with the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG by Goodman Games. It's lighter than 5e and PF2e, but there's a fun magic system and martial characters also get some love through the improvisational Mighty Deeds of Arms mechanic. There's only one core book, but there's an incredible amount of adventure and setting support. The community is chill and welcoming.
Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG. I’ve played it before, but I really want to run it myself.
I’m also interested in either playing or running Black Sword Hack: Ultimate Chaos Edition. I’ve run the regular first edition Black Hack, but I much prefer the overt Sword & Sorcery style of BSH.
thanks for using Leebra!
