You'd be putting your life on the line, so a suggestion if you go through with this idea:
Have someone you can entrust the site to that wouldn't be targeted by the regime (at least immediately, maybe a foreigner?) in case you go MIA, or someone "suicides" you.
Also, hosting an anti-dictatorship platform fully within the borders the dictatorship controls means it could easily hunt down those hosting it. They wouldn't need to pick leaves one by one if they chop the whole tree down, in an analogy. From what I follow of news about Iran, its regime appears to be more immediately an enemy of the US, Israel, Lebanon and Russia, and the EU governments appear to be shifting to be openly against it, so maybe worth looking for VPS providers aligned with those countries, I'd think.
Also, people often use Telegram, but internet being cut makes it somewhat unreliable. Alternatively, what P2P or other portable relay technologies are there, so that even if the origin of the network disappears or internet is cut, it keeps floating around? I can only think of amateur radio broadcast, similar to how Poles did in the Iron Curtain time, but similarly to there back then, you'd need to be on the run after each short broadcast, so you're not easily found.
I don't think this community is for travel questions. Maybe better to post/crosspost to !travel@lemmy.ml, !Travel@crazypeople.online, and/or !france@jlai.lu.
I call these the "2010's platforms":
Walled gardens where the walls are mainly the addiction and dependence they cause.
Though most are from before 2010, by the beginning of the decade, these started shifting to the bad design we have today.
And borrowing from an analysis I saw, iirc of power through economic mismamanegement, these platforms need to keep inflating their presence to keep being relevant. But the more they inflate, the more they need to keep inflating, else their castle of cards come crumbling.
But as cracks start to appear, which I'd interpret as them becoming so big their problems are too hard to ignore even for "normies", or even the problems growing to that same result, people start jumping ship, and the platforms start panicking. But with these platforms having no concept of true relevance, then we get to the alienation as damage control.
About what's Reddit's intention, I can only conjecture, but I get the impression they are intentionally self-sabotaging. And trying to think who or how someone would benefit from this, the only thing that comes to mind is that they're destroying the legacy of the biggest public forum.
This, extrapolating, would potentially force people to go to platforms that require accounts, which sounds even more suspicious when considering the verification laws and policies that are increasingly being pushed since around October last year.
About VPN, Reddit apparently does IP bans and automatically considers a new account made in a same IP of a banned account as an evasion attempt, which given VPNs, spreads like a disease, like they're setting up a digital pandemic - or should I say "a plandemic".
Anxiety may have many sources, and the way you write, it sounds like you're not sure yourself what the source is for you, so I'd suggest looking for a psychiatrist.
And if for whichever reasons you cannot or will not take meds, maybe you could seek to train behavior and discipline instead? Or even, meds + training together, if you figure out why you're concerned.
One option would be to use a single, real IP and never any other ones and hope you don't break any unsaid rules from Reddit.
The other would be to accept Reddit doesn't want people in its platform, and at most follow people and communities there through RSS, mirrors or manually.
Maybe someone with an unfair ban could try contacting their support, but I've yet to see anyone report back if they tried and how it went.

My suggestions would be to either block Linkedin at firewall level, or to cave in but to plaster everywhere you can, including within Linkedin, their datahoarding/telescreen¹ attempt travestied as privacy. Or to block it and still plaster the situation everywhere.

Also how spammy and intrusive the site is, specially on phone. Even with ad-blocking, still popups appear and take a good portion of the screen, and that robot icon keeps swaying in the corner, distracting the reader. Good thing Mbin has domain-blocking. =)
