If you want to go into vote, you can always go somewhere. Where I live ballots are sorted out in the county courthouse. They set up several voting booths for those who want to vote in person.

You are not limited to only voting my mail.

That is what I don't understand about folks who want to get rid of the mail in voting. The same people who get cranky about the line at the stoplight or checkout is suddenly ok at the voting booth?

I think Target does that also. They simply gather info about a theft until the dollar value is up to a certain amount and then they detain you.

I watched both of those and you are right. Fun movies to just turn your brain off and go with the flow.

I hated Civ VII when it first came out. If I start out as Rome, then I will play through to the end of the game as Rome. I tried several times to go through the empire change, but my options were always countries that I have never heard of or ones that I really had no interest in playing.

Now that they updated it, I haven't tried playing again. I did like the game other than that.

I should try again. I really do like the franchise.

You can't name one, but in Melborne, Austrailia, you can email one.

http://melbourneurbanforestvisual.com.au/...

They have mapped many of their trees and given each one an email address. According to their webpage it was really so that when a tree was damaged or diseased someone could simply "email the tree" and someone would be able to put the issue into the "lets get this issue fixed" queue.

But what happened was that folks were emailing the trees for non-repair type of issues and were general emails like the tree was living person, like an ENT from Lord of the Rings.

"Email Support". Yeah, I can kind of see someone wanting to support their favorite wrestler, and I bet people got really insane with their messages. Wrestling has some pretty interesting fans.

Perhaps if we named more tree's people would take better care of them.

I have Acute Myloid Leukemia.

In the State of Oregon, to treat that with a side trip through "lets get a bone marrow transplant land" it costs $2 million dollars.

I had a doctor state that they don't know what causes Leukemia, but it's not genetic, so there is nothing I could have done to prevent it and my family didn't give it to me.

Are you going to save up $2 million dollars in case you get diagnosed with something that does not have any symptoms? Because I didn't have any. One month I was fine, and the next I couldn't get to from my car to my desk at work without stopping somewhere along the way to rest.

To a certain degree, I see your point about paying for something that you are not really using. It sucks. But if you need it, it is really nice that you already have it.

There is a reason why some people literally go bankrupt with medical bills. Even with insurance, it can still get pretty costly.

Nearly 100 people have been reported sickened with salmonella starting in November amid a recall of 19 million eggs linked at least to part of the outbreak, according to the federal Food and Drug Administration.

The 98 illnesses have been reported in 17 states, the agency said. The cases of salmonella were reported starting on Nov. 21, 2025, through June 30, 2026.

Those infected reported eating eggs before becoming ill, the F.D.A. said. It said that 26 people have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.

On Wednesday, Midwest Poultry Services of North Manchester, Ind., said it was voluntarily recalling nearly 19 million white-shell and brown cage-free shell eggs sold under several brand names at grocery stores in six states after samples collected at farms in Texas tested positive for salmonella.

As part of its investigation, the F.D.A. said it had conducted a “traceback investigation based on where ill people reported purchasing or eating eggs during the time frame of interest, and Midwest Poultry Services, L.P. was identified as a common egg source.”

The agency added that the company did not account for all the illnesses in this outbreak. “Additional investigation is ongoing to determine if there are other sources of illness,” it said.

The recalled eggs were produced and distributed between June 6 and July 3, with sell-by or best-by dates between July 20 and Aug. 17, the agency said.

In an emailed statement, Midwest Poultry Services said that it was recalling the eggs “as a precautionary measure.”

“Producing safe, quality food for those who eat our eggs is our highest priority,” the company said, “and this voluntary investigation and recall demonstrates that commitment.”

Here’s what to know.

Which egg brands are affected and where?
Here’s a list of all the products affected.

The recalled cartons have the identifying code P-1950 or 0840962 printed on the side, along with a Julian date (a three-digit number ranging from 001 for Jan. 1 to 365 for Dec. 31) of 157 to 184.

The eggs were sold at Kroger supermarkets in Texas and Louisiana and at Brookshire’s grocery stores in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, as well as at smaller retail outlets, the F.D.A. said.

The recalled products include:

Kroger large eggs in cartons of 12, 18 and 60.

Simple Truth cage-free medium brown eggs cartons of 12, 18 and 24.

Brookshire’s large eggs in cartons of six, 12, 18, 36 and 60.

Country Morning large eggs in cartons of 12 and 18, and medium and extra-large eggs in 12-count cartons.

Midwest Poultry Services is not currently distributing fresh eggs produced at its Texas farms, the F.D.A. said.

What to do if you have the recalled eggs.
Consumers should not consume the eggs, which may be returned to the original point of purchase for a refund, the F.D.A. said.

Where have the illnesses been reported?
The 98 salmonella cases have been reported in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and West Virginia, according to the F.D.A.

Texas had the most cases, with 73.

What is salmonella?
Salmonella, which sickens an estimated 1.35 million people in the United States each year, is the nation’s most frequently reported cause of food-borne illness, according to the Department of Agriculture.

Because the bacteria thrive in animal intestines, they wind up in animal feces — and then, sometimes, on animal feet and fur. That can allow salmonella to spread to other locations, including crop fields and food processing plants, where the bacteria can contaminate produce and packaged foods.

The bacteria can get on egg shells when hens lay eggs or if the eggs touch bird droppings after being laid. Salmonella can also contaminate eggs as they are forming inside the hen before they form a shell.

What are the symptoms of a salmonella infection?
The infection caused by the bacteria is called salmonellosis.

Symptoms include nausea, abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea and vomiting. In extreme cases, salmonella can contaminate the human bloodstream and cause infection and severe inflammation of the arteries, endocarditis and arthritis.

I have had lots of chemo. It sucks. Good luck!

Did you name your wheelie-thingy? (that they hang the bags on). I named mine Otis. I figured if Otis was good enough to keep the elevators from crashing to the ground, then he was good enough to sort out how much of what drug I am getting at the time.

I want to reply with a joke about how America is a big country and people need to talk louder because of it, but you raise a very good question.

I would venture a guess that your suggestion about the space being bigger and people having to project their voices as a possible reason.
